Images from the rural landscape in digital art. This art work originates as photographs mostly from the Blackman Ranch in the Elko Nevada area. Located at in the foothills of the Ruby Mountain this ranch has a beauty and serenity reflective of ranches. Images range from livestock including sheep goats cattle llama and ostrich to the purely scenic pasture lands bordered by snow capped mountains. A close up view of flowers grasses and trees round off this view of ranch life. The photographs are transformed through digital manipulation to provide a more painted artistic look. From winter twilight and summer sunrise these are peaceful images of life on the ranch. This 2012 Calendar shows the entire year on a single page.
